1kg Mrs Quick Classic Beef Sausage Rolls
1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
1 egg, whisked
Pepper, to taste
Place Mrs Quick Sausage rolls on floured greaseproof paper as per pack directions to thaw. Preheat oven to 220˚C (or 200˚C in fan forced oven). Grate and mix parmesan, cheddar cheese and pepper evenly. cut lengths to desired size (the photo shows large finger food pieces – with each unbaked roll cut into 6 pieces, however you can cut them any size you like). Brush egg wash onto each roll and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven, brush with egg wash again, and sprinkle each roll with the cheese mixture. Bake rolls in oven for a further 10 minutes, or until pastry is cooked and flaky, and cheese golden brown.
